SYP announced that it hosted the first session of the "2024 Scaleup Your Potential" Demoday, featuring companies selected for the Super Gap Startup 1000+ project, at the Unicorn Bridge in SYP’s headquarters on the 26th.

SYP Co., Ltd. is an accelerator supporting the growth of deep-tech startups and has been selected as the lead organization for attracting investment in the Super Gap Startup 1000+ project, which focuses on nurturing and supporting promising startups in ten key areas. The project includes a variety of programs aimed at fostering Super Gap companies in four technical fields: AI & Big Data, Bio & Health, Eco-Friendly & Energy, and Next-Generation Nuclear Power.

The "Scaleup Your Potential" Demoday is a regular IR (Investor Relations) program named after the first letters of SYP. It targets Super Gap startups seeking investment opportunities, providing them with a platform to present their ideas to VCs with the relevant investment capabilities, such as Super Gap Funds. The goal is to offer participating companies opportunities for investment and network expansion while providing VCs with the chance to invest in promising Super Gap companies.

This event featured eco-friendly energy and bio startups, including EcoInEnergy, Refla, Neurogreen, and LBase, along with VCs such as Sema Investment, Scaleup Partners, and Shinhan Venture Investment, who manage Super Gap co-investment funds and materials/components/equipment investment funds.

SYP stated that all four Super Gap companies that participated in the Demoday successfully secured follow-up meetings with the VCs, and SYP will continue to support them in the subsequent stages. They also mentioned that the event, which focused on the bio and energy sectors, received high satisfaction from the participating companies.

SYP plans to hold a total of nine "Scaleup Your Potential" Demoday sessions in the future to support the active investment attraction activities of Super Gap startups.
